So when I was working on my Warman project, I noticed I needed a more 'efficient' way to design 3D print elements around other parts. Currently have settled for manually measuring dimensions of parts and transposing them onto the newer parts. For example, I would like to design an enclosure for this Arduino UNO controller, but it is too laborious to continuously check that they fit properly.
Yup. Experimented a little managed to 'imprint' an existing part surface to another surface so that the 3D prints properly mate.
